2. We Do Not Collect Any Data
Laylaya is built with privacy at its core. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal or non-personal information from you or your child when you use the App.
This means we do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or account information
- Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
- Usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostics
- Photos, contacts, microphone, or camera data
- Any information about how or when stories are played
There is no registration, no login, and no user profiles. We have no servers that receive data from the App.
3. Data Stored on Your Device Only
Any preferences saved by the App — such as playback settings or favorites — are stored locally on your device only. This information never leaves your device and is never sent to us or any third party.
You can remove this local data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or uninstalling the App.
4. Children's Privacy
Laylaya is intended for use by children under parental or guardian supervision. Because we collect no data whatsoever:
- No personal information is collected from children
- No behavioral advertising is shown
- Children cannot communicate with other users through the App
- We do not sell or share any information — because we have none
This approach fully satisfies the requirements of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
5. Third-Party Services
Laylaya does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Apple and Google may collect certain information independently when you download or update the App, according to their own privacy policies:
We do not receive any of that information from Apple or Google.
6. Advertising and Tracking
Laylaya contains no advertising of any kind and does no tracking across apps or websites. We do not use cookies or similar technologies.
7. In-App Purchases
If the App offers paid content, all transactions are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store any payment or personal information. Refund requests should be submitted directly through the App Store or Google Play.
8. Internet Access
The App may request internet access only to download story content. These requests are not linked to any user identity and we do not log or store them. If all content is bundled within the App, no internet connection is required.
9. App Permissions
Laylaya requests only the minimum permissions needed to function. We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or other sensitive device features.
10. Contacting Us
If you choose to email us with a question or support request, we will only use the information you voluntarily provide in your message to respond to you. This communication is outside the App and is not collected automatically.
