1. Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using LaKesha, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. A parent or guardian should review these terms before letting a child use the app.
2. Who may use LaKesha
LaKesha is a play-based learning app for kids. The app is intended to be downloaded and managed by a parent or guardian. Children may use the learning games on a parent-managed device.
If you are a parent, you are responsible for the device, for any purchases made through your store account, and for supervising how the app is used.
3. The Service
LaKesha offers play-based activities about colors, numbers, shapes, letters, animals, and related early-learning topics. We may add, change, or remove activities. The app is for personal, non-commercial use by families.
LaKesha is an educational play tool. It is not a school, not a substitute for a teacher or caregiver, and not a medical or developmental diagnosis service.
4. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains that the LaKesha app does not collect any data. The Privacy Policy is part of how we operate the Service. If there is a conflict about personal information, the Privacy Policy controls.
5. Purchases and stores
If the app is free, paid, or offered with optional in-app purchases, those payments are handled by Apple, Google, or another store you use. Their terms, refund rules, and billing support apply to those transactions. We do not receive a child’s payment card details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the app except as the law allows;
- interfere with the Service or attempt to access it in an unauthorized way;
- use the Service to collect personal information from children;
- upload harmful code; or
- use LaKesha for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
LaKesha, the name, the games, art, audio, and text are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the app for family learning on devices you own or control. You may not use our name or content to imply a partnership without our written permission.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is.” We work to keep it useful and available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every child. Learning outcomes vary.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, LaKesha is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data on a device. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived, including rights that protect children.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. If you continue to use the Service after an update, the new terms apply. We may suspend or stop the Service. You may stop using LaKesha at any time by deleting the app.
